The eminent St .George HS Thankey has Established in 1913 By the Glorious And forsited vission of christian missionaries and parish people. And was upgraded in 1948 as up and 1976 as High schooThen the school is named as st George Hs Thankey ,is Near costal Belt .Most of the students are from poor family lives on fishing. Thankey a very attractive Hamlet situated at the North-west part of Kadakkarappally village of Cherthala Thaluk of Alappuzha District bordering with the Arabian sea .
