St.George H.S.Thankey

By the grace of God our longing wish fulfilled that is nothing but  the school bus which has given by the respected Manager  Rev. Dr .Francis Kurisinkal It is really a gift for the poor  students  from Coastal belt.This facility made the students high security.

 We celebrated the Republic Day in a colour full way .  Rev Fr Pratheesh Antony chullikkal delivered  a grand speech  and hoisted the   National flag Patriotic songs   skits were conducted along with this celebration.

Fort Kochi  is one of the beautiful place in  the city of cochin in the state of kerala, the other two are mattancheri and Ernakulam and they . In 1967, these three municipalities, along with a few  areas, were united  to form the cochin corporation.We conducted a trip to this beautiful place to study about the are were the europne's came .It was An informative trip by social science club.

 We conducted a trip the place Munnar, is a town located in the Idduki district of kerala , situated in  India.The name Munnar is believed to be derived from the words Munnu (three) and Aaru (river), referring to the town's strategic location at the confluence of Themuthirappuzha,and Nellathani and Kundali rivers. The Munnar panchayat in the Devikulam block is the largest panchayat in the Idduki district having an area measuring nearly 557 km².

The primary health cernter vaccinated our students to get immunisation.

Teritorial army kanoor 122-10 came to our school  for national integration campain .15 army men came here and explain the job oppertunities and the importance of NCC

It is situated 1,100 Metres above sea level. Vagamon is surrounded by three hills namely, 'Thangal hill', 'Murugan hill' and  'Kurisumala 

The eminent St .George HS Thankey has   Established in 1913 By the Glorious And forsited vission of christian missionaries and parish people.  And was upgraded in 1948 as up and 1976 as High schooThen the  school is named as st George Hs Thankey ,is Near costal Belt .Most of    the students are from poor family lives on fishing.                                                  Thankey a very attractive Hamlet situated at the North-west part of Kadakkarappally village of  Cherthala Thaluk of Alappuzha  District bordering with the Arabian sea . In the inial stage of 19th century it is true that the traditional society of Kerala comprised with a numerous social inequalities , caste systems and Barbarian feudalistic land  Lord ism ,even though it was the renaissance Age .                                                                                      The esteemed contributions and efforts of christian missionaries to enlighten the society were remarkable and unforgettable .Acco

15 Students of st George Hs Thankey  Participated   in a swimming  race in nearby canal.they swam  so vigorously that the spectators were thrilled and  master sri .Sivadas was overjoyed at their performance  10 teachers accompanied them the winners were selectedfor the upper level competition

 24 th December 2011 that one of the days that  will  ever be cherished in the memory of the staff and students of st .George H.S Thankey  when the sun cast its tender rays the students were in a hurry bury getting ready for the competitions they reached the school at 9 o´clock and the head master addressed the gathering .He gave them the message to spread peace and joy in the world to be the right followers of the Jesuschrist
