And was upgraded in 1948 as up and 1976 as High schooThen the school is named as st George Hs Thankey ,is Near costal Belt .Most of the students are from poor family lives on fishing. Thankey a very attractive Hamlet situated at the North-west part of Kadakkarappally village of Cherthala Thaluk of Alappuzha District bordering with the Arabian sea . In the inial stage of 19th century it is true that the traditional society of Kerala comprised with a numerous social inequalities , caste systems and Barbarian feudalistic land Lord ism ,even though it was the renaissance Age . ...
