  The Right to Education Act has been debated, discussed and deliberated by experts before it became a law. As a signatory to the United Nations Convention on Rights of the Child (UNCRC) India already recognizes fundamental rights of children to Survival, Development, Protection and Participation. Honoring the commitment made to the nation's children in Article 21A of the Constitution, THE RIGHT OF CHILDREN TO FREE AND COMPULSORY EDUCATION ACT 2009 (Popularly referred to as RTE) has now become operational. Activists and organizations in the Child Rights/Child Protection space are now seized of the issue: just what will be the impact of RTE? How will issues under the RTE need to be intervened and how will role of organizations in the space need to evolve? In many ways the RTE is a landmark legislation. It defines the roles of government, schools, duties of parents and even defines the nature/features /facilities of a school.

We Celebrated  63 rd   Republic day in our School .It was a celebration of India in all its diversity, complexities and Colour. The 63rd Republic Day unfolded on Thursday with a grand pageant here showcasing a resurgent India's military power and culture kaleidoscope and also millions of tri colours hoisted across the country in ceremonies big and small . Flag Hoisting  was done by Rt.Fr .Pratheesh Antony Chullickal Assistant Vicar St.Mary's Forane Church Thankey ,The Ancient church of coastal belt.

National Leprosy Eradication Programme Was conducted by the Primary Health center Kadakkarappally  . A one  day Workshop, they  an Awareness Class for 50 students about  Leprosy and its Medical Side,  Mode of  Spread  , causative organism  And  its Treatments  etc.

Our Merit Evening And Endowment Distribution Programe Conducted on 19 January 2012  . Rv.Fr .Dr Kurisinkal was the President  And the Inauguration was done by  our Grama panchayath president Mr.James chinkuthara an Alumni . Keynote Address was done by Rv.Fr Antony Araykkal.The Endowment were distributed by Mr.P.Mohana Chandran  The Sub Inspector of Police.
